Limited Editions

Our philosophy is to make the best use of local resources. This is why we don’t believe in mass production and one-size-fits-all designs. Instead, we take a very close look at each tree and imagine the best possible use for it. The result of this process are our Limited Editions.

The Sonian Forest is dominated by beech trees, which are perfect for furniture and interior architecture. Yet many of them have non-standard features: they are “too large”, “not straight”, “not white enough” or have “too many knots”. While these features are considered anomalies by industrial wood operators… but we love them!

Together with our local manufacturing partners and designers, we create Limited Editions that turn unique trees into unique objects.
